To the only person who understands...

...don't ever leave. Viewers of my blog are familiar of him already, his name is Paul. He is my boyfriend who acts like my brother, sister, father and mother. But ultimately, he's my best friend. He curses, he swears, he gets really mad when provoked and his words could be very brutal, but they're all true. From what I've heard, he's about to out up his own booth in their office due to a lot of people asking him for love advices. He's like doctor love who is trusted by almost everybody. Paul is one amazing man and I'm one lucky lady. Know why? Because he loves me and I love him so much. :)

Changes

Change is inevitable. True. And even if I wouldn't agree, things that are happening in the world today would prove to my face that change is constant, the only thing that's permanent.
I was taught this and that, I grew up being familiar with this and that, I am living a world of my own this' and thats. But what if it has to change? And the change isn't really because of me, well, a part probably. But the change had to happen for you to fit in to a certain person's life. How will you do it? How will you live your life knowing that those things you're used in doing ain't gonna be the same for you anymore. You don't have to change to please a person or for them to accept you, but you need to change some stuff (not entirely) to avoid paltry fights and unnecessary word combat. Just a thought.

Nagsasa, you're on our minds...

It was perfect. It was paradise on earth. We walked along the serene shoreline, played with the gigantic waves, cooked our own food, lit up sky lanterns and gazed upon the naked, vast, magnificent sky. And then we realized that it was infinite. <3

22

It started special, it started right
When my phone lit up and I saw it was my guy
A Facebook post, a picture too
Those things welcomed my January 2

Late replies and delayed schemes
Unusual actions performed by my king
I entered the place, full of happiness and glee
He was there, sipping hot chocolate, waiting for me

It was our first mass together, I held his hand
He held mine back as they signaled, we stand
My man, the one I love is with me
In his arms, whatever tough becomes easy

We took pictures and ate happily
We laughed like we’re little children in elementary
I had to eat ice cream and forget about my diet
What is a birthday if it’s all peace and quiet

I got sad cause I had to bid goodbye
I went inside the cab and suddenly I wanted to cry
But the next things that happened surely amazed me
When I went into my station and saw what I see

A bouquet of flowers and chocolates in red
I was speechless, I was surprised, I was stunned, enough said
My day ended and I knew exactly how I would recall
That very special day when I was surprised by Paul.

And just when I thought...

my day was over...a bouquet of pretty flowers and chocolates welcomed me at my desk. I have the sweetest boyfriend ever!!! We went to hear mass together and ate dinner together but still he was able to have this surprise for me. He planned it waaaay too well and with the help of my coworkers, his plan was a huge success. Thank you Paul! I love you so much :)

A Year Older

The holidays are over for most people but not for our family. After Christmas and New Years, the birthday celebrations are up next. I started it when the clock struck 12 earlier. My day is almost over and I'm sitting here in my most favorite spot in Mckinley Hill, sipping my coconut shake, waiting for my shift to start (yes, I'll be on a night shift for the month of January), and blogging about how awesome my day was.
It started great! Well, my boyfriend greeted me with a Facebook post and a call at exactly 12 midnight. He is the sweetest! It was followed by a hug and kiss from my parents who woke up from their sleep just to greet me, then my siblings, then my other relatives and friends who posted on my wall. Of course! Facebook notifies you that "Hey look! It's your friend, Mara's birthday! Greet her!". Lol, for me it's like that, but the fact that they took time to greet you, that is very much appreciated.
The day just got better cause I got to see Paul and we went to hear mass together. It's our first time to do it and I know it will be followed by a lot lot more.
We then went to eat dinner and bonded over our DQs. Paul is a caramel lover, that I have proved.
I left him there cause he needs to work already and I will be working in a while too so even if I want to spend more time with him, I need to say goodbye. But actually, we will still be talking all night cause he changed his work schedule just so he could match mine (now, that is the sweetest!).
I am very happy with everything that's happening at the moment, I just felt a little bit sad earlier when my relatives from far away greeted me, cause I miss them so much.

I'm looking forward to having more adventures this year, more awesome memories to make and may our 2013 be fruitful and amazing all year round! :)

Thank you Lord!
