Life Lately

Well last week has really been very busy for me as all my weekends for March were consumed by my driving lessons. I need to learn how to drive so I could have an additional option when going to work. Also, the past week was more like a "family week" for me and Paul. My sister graduated from college last March 23 and I couldn't be more proud of her! We then had dinner with my whole family right after the ceremony. More of the family time happened when Paul's super cool dad came home from Bahamas. I was really nervous 'cause it was our first time to meet but because he's so awesome, my uncomfortable feeling immediately went away. I also got to meet some of Paul's relatives and we all had dinner at Dampa. With all the time we spent with our families, of course Paul and I didn't forget to have some alone time together and that is just sweet.

Frustrations

Sometimes life gets rough and the usual thing that happens is that we are brought down to our knees. Sometimes when you're almost at the top, something happens that would sidetrack you to the downward path and you feel hopeless of your situation. Sometimes you hit rock bottom you think it's impossible to bounce back up.
You will then get into thinking that you don't deserve it since you're a good person.
I think about it a lot. Why do bad things happen to good people and what's there to learn when they are already good?
Then I realize that these things are part of the process of molding one person to become better no matter how good they already are.
Things that bring us down are just there to teach us a lesson, to make us see the bigger picture, to open our minds and to strengthen us in every way.
When bad things happen, you usually meet new people and they help you get through those stuff. They pull you up and push you to the top.
Whatever you're experiencing at the moment, I may not be able to directly help you get through it, you know I'm with you. I'll share whatever pain and frustration you're currently experiencing and together, we'll rise again. Together.

Dinner Date

I usually spend Sundays with my family but last Sunday it was different, I spent it with Paul. My sweet boyfriend asked me out to dinner and though his original plans (dinner on a yacht cruise) failed, he was still able to pull it off and I couldn't ask for anything else. We went to this place called House of Minis where they specialize oh-so-yummy steaks and other grilled food. I thought it was just a normal dinner night since we really love to eat together but to my surprise, he got me a bouquet.I was so happy but I asked him on what the occasion was and why I have flowers. He replied with a sweet sweet smile, even his eyes were smiling as he told me that I deserve the best and that there's no need for a special event for me to have flowers. I love you baby boy! :)
