Beating Stress

So when this week started, I actually thought it was going to be less stressful than last week. But I was dead wrong. I probably had that expectation because last week ended smoothly. Instead of working in the office last Friday, my team decided we go on a karaoke night to release the stress that has been killing us. It was a fun-filled night and I enjoyed it a lot with my coworkers.

The day after that, Paul and I decided to visit Ace Water Spa again to relax and unwind. It was so much fun but still, we weren't able to sneak in pictures because of the strict security. Nevertheless, it's very fun and relaxing. We even felt sleepy and tried to get short naps while circling the 'Lazy River'! The day after, I had a good Sunday with my family. My parents just love talking about future plans to us and we're all giddy when talking about it. I think I got that from them, I loooove planning stuff especially when the used-to-be plans are being actualized.
When Monday came, I knew in an instant that it was going to be one hell of a day. I came in the office and faced a lot of issues and stress immediately took over. The week had just started but it was too much to handle. Good thing Paul was always there to cheer me up whenever things were just too hard to bear.

And since I'm a very talkative person, I'm pretty much vocal even on social networks on how stressed I am with work and my ever dearest best friends do not like the idea of me getting exhausted. So we all planned #KidnapCeceForDinner. Lol. I am Cece (from New Girl, righhhht) because I used to use that codename whenever me and my bestfriends do something illegal. Just kidding! So I'll cut to the chase, they went to Mckinley to have dinner with me! I've missed these people so much and I love how we shouted while running towards each other (hahaha) that night. I love my friends, they're awesome.

P.S.
Before I end this blog post, here's the picture of our new baby Hunter!!!
Isn't he the cutest? He's so tiny I'm gonna die! I can't wait to get Zooey already. Paul and I are like parents when talking about Zozo, we're planning all sorts of stuff from her clothes, food, stroll in the park, getaways, and etc. Our baby will be very spoiled! So with my other babies!
Stress can pour more shit on me but I know I'll always be able to turn things around. I'm just blessed to have everyone around me for the boost and the love.

Xoxo,
Ellie

Perfumes

"A woman's perfume tells more about her than her handwriting." -Christian Dior

True. For me, the smell and fragrance of an individual does matter alot. It tells more of him or her in a way. It shows the persona behind the face, the attitude behind the talk. I think the aroma of the perfume he or she is wearing has something to do with that. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you just love it if the person you're talking to smells so good you think you're in love because of the smell? I have to admit, my boyfriend smells good all the time and when we first met, his smell attracted me so much that it made me cling to him! So having said that, this post would be about my top 10 favorite perfumes.

10. Lacoste Red
As this one may be more of a manly scent, I still love smelling it on my skin. Got boyfee this one and he's very happy about it.

9. Revlon Charlie White
A friend of mine got me this years ago and I just kept on buying it ever since. The smell is just so relaxingly cool.

8. Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto Bloom

If you want to smell fresh and girly all day, use this!

7. Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Honey Do

My boyfriend just can't help but love this scent. I think this one is part of his top 5 favorites for me.

6. Clinique Happy

Another feel fresh perfume! Seriously, the smell of this makes me happy all the time!

5. Beyonce Heat

While the smell of this is quite strong, it gives off a very fragrant smell that's so sexy. Paul's dad gave me 2 of this as a present and I love it!

4. Lanvin Eclat D'Arpege

The smell of white ginger that lasts long surely makes everyone you pass by look at you. This is amazing.

3. Escada Pacific Paradise

If you want to have the beachy while even in the metro, this is a must have!

2. Taylor by Taylor Swift

I'm currently wearing this one. I love the smell of love and I definitely think all of Elizabeth Arden's creations are such. This one is very very hard to find but thankfully, since a coworker of mine went for a vacay in the US, I now have it in my hands.

1. Wonderstruck

This will always be my favorite. This has this nostalgic smell that takes me back to the days when I found my love for writing. For me, this is the best perfume ever! It makes me want to believe life is a fairytale.

If you're already working and earning bucks, I say you invest on a good perfume. One that would represent you and your personality. I like the sweet, loving, make-your-boyfriend-clingy smell that's wearable anytime, anywhere.

Life Lately

Hey guys! How are things so far? I hope all's good and happy. As for me, these past few days have been a roller coaster ride from the passing of my Uncle Ely, major major distractions, shitty workload to me and Paul celebrating our 10th month and my siblings' awesome accomplishments. And oh, the excitement of our future plans! So yeah, let's erase the crap and talk happy. Yesterday, my sweet boyfriend and I celebrated our 10th month of being together. Yes. And it seems like everything had just started yesterday. You know how much I love this guy right? And that I'll do everything to make him happy? Hell yeah. He deserves it, he deserves happiness and love and even if the day would come when I'll be very poor and those two are the only things I have, I'd whole-heartedly give it to him. Just because he's the best. :)

Also this week, my sister Lai, received the news that she's regularized in the company she's working for. I, as an 'ate', couldn't be more proud of what she's achieved. I know she's worked so hard newfor it and she deserves every great thing she's currently blessed with. Second, my brother Jude who is very much close to me (I think for him I'm a boy), is doing pretty well in school. He's graduating March next year and I can't help but be so excited. He's grown up to be such a gentleman. He's a big guy but he surely has a very kind heart. Last but not the least, my youngest sister Neue is really starting to be 'dalaga' na. I don't know how to feel about it but when I cuddle up with her when watching TV, it seems to me that she's still the baby I used to carry around years ago. She'll always be my baby (well, I actually have ALOT now).

And that brings us to the last part, my babies! I just can't help but be soooo excited! I don't know if you're aware on how much of a pet lover I am and I am very much obsessed with dogs. They're so cute and fluffy and whatever, they're dogs! I'm sure that alone is enough of a description to make you say 'awww'. Anyway, I already have two (Santi - Mini Pinscher & Coco - Shih Tzu). When I met Paul, who is clearly a boy version of me, I was super happy to find out he's a dog person too! He used to have two dogs (Simba - Chowchow & Margaux - Siberian Husky), but Margaux had to be given away due to some good reasons. Being the pet lovers that we are, Paul and I decided that we adopt a new one! It will be our baby and she's a very beautiful Siberian Husky we'll soon call 'Zooey' (yeah i'm a New Girl fan). I'm happy Paul loved the name so we didn't have to argue about that one. Isn't that face the cutest? And those eyes, they're so damn blue!!! I can't wait to lay my hands on our Zooey, she'll be with us first week of November.

And oh, oh that's not about it yet! Remember my dog Santi, well he's now a father of four and we'll be getting one!!! That's another plus to the family! I haven't seen the baby yet but I was informed he's a cute boy. I'll post a picture as soon as he arrives but as early as now he already has a name, he'll be called Hunter (credits to me again haha).
I am so excited and giddy and happy! I can't wait for my new babies to arrive and for my current babies to play with them. Thanks for reading guys and I hope y'all have a great week ahead!

Lovelots,
(Say hello to my new bangs! haha)

How I Met My Future

A year ago today came the instant message that changed my life. Because someone who has a crush on me before (until now haha) took the risk of not getting a reply and sent me an instant message to say hi. I had no idea of who he was back then. But I was given a some sort of heads up by a close friend of mine about this person who has been stalking my Accenture blog posts for quite sometime. Man, had I known he'd make me THIS happy, I should've replied longer than my "hello". I've kept some of our conversations before and it's nostalgic to re-read them. Flashbacks of how this man won my heart make me happy and smile in the middle of a meeting. Oh how time flies.

Throwback

I was searching for throwback worthy pictures days ago so I could go back and join the #throwbackthursday craze on Instagram. I have found a whole lot and I guess the drill is that you need to post just one, hence, you'll be considered as a vain person who floods newsfeeds with his/her face. Hell no. So I've decided to put them here, where I could freely post pretty much anything under the sun. Behold...
