Unexpected Surprise

Well who would have thought that I'd still get a surprise 5 days after my birthday? Yes, I did and it was pretty sweet! Our shift almost ended and I was excited to get off work because I'll be seeing Paul for our regular midnight coffee date when he told me that his client suddenly wanted him to do an urgent report. I actually thought he'd be late for like 2 hours so I procrasticated (lels). It was 30 minutes before my shift would have ended and my colleague Gerson and I were having a good laugh because I was making faces when suddenly...a happy birthday song was sung by everybody in the floor. When I turned, I was shocked that it was for me and I was more shocked when I saw Paul.

He's really got best actor skills and so does my team mates. The surprise was actually by my team and they asked Paul to be a part of it so I will really be surprised.. well, it worked you guys! A for the effort and for bringing Paul in extra early from Eastwood to Mckinley.

Thank you so much! My days at work are extra brighter because of colleagues like all of you :)

Turning 24

As many of you know already, the new year doesn't mark the end of festivities for my family. It's actually just the middle of it. Right after new years, it's the birthday of a very awesome person (ahem) and this year she just turned 24.
I really think God loves me so much because he blesses me and the people I love with so much and we couldn't be more thankful. My 24th birthday, well it's the best ever! It should be that way. Every birthday of yours should be better than of your previous ones. So let take you to the moments last January 2 where everything went quite magical for me (lels, must be my curls).

As mentioned in my previous posts, some of our relatives flew in from Mindanao to spend the holidays with us. We ate at Vikings for lunch and it was so much fun! Being with a larger group is just more jollier! Me, my dad and my sister Neue are January babies so we ate for free. Many buffets in the metro are offering that kind of deal so that kinda rocks.

Right after our lunch, Paul and I had our birth-date in SM Aura where we watched the very funny film English Only Please. You guys should watch it, it's pretty cute. We then attended mass at the Chapel of Pedro Calungsod which was situated in the upper part of Aura overlooking Taguig. It was splendid! I mean yeah, the view was super nice and it looked more amazing when we took pictures using Paul's new GoPro Hero 4.

After the mass, we then decided to try the famous Magnum cafe. Dessert went first because we were still full from our Viking lunch.

After the sweets, we felt the need to have dinner so we headed to NBA Cafe. Paul was so giddy because yeaaah, he's such a fan boy!

Then of course, a day wouldn't be called magical if it wouldn't end with a coffee date with your coffee partner for life.

Ohh life is so beautiful and my 24th year on Earth started with so much happiness. Claiming for the same and for the better the whole year round.

Happy new year folks!

Xoxo,

Ellie

Christmas and New Year

Our holiday season for 2014 was pretty much the busiest of all. We had our relatives flew in from Iligan to spend the season with us and it couldn't be any jollier. We spent Christmas simply and exchanged gifts as per tradition and out of love. We then had a blast welcoming 2015 and waving goodbye to 2014 who had been very good to us. Claiming it as early as now, 2015 will be a blast and we'll continue to be rockstars in our every day lives.
