Staying Positive

I would definitely rant if I'm just not too lazy to type every tirade I have against the stress that my work causes me. I actually think people around me are fed up of my "I-hate-my-job" outburst every now and then. But I guess what they say is true that when you work really hard, when you rant but still do your best, it will eventually pay off. Mine did. :)

Last May, I was promoted to a senior level right after my 4th year anniversary in the company I work in. I won an award within our project and within our industry (I was actually late that day and people were like sending me congratulatory e-cards -- and I was like ???) Lol.

And yeah, I just found out that people actually still read my stories and poems! All of these is because of the company I work for. Yes, I do get stressed but who doesn't? Victory is much sweeter when you've actually earned it out of sweat and blood (no blood). So yeah people, let's keep striving and grinding! :)

P.S. I wasn't given a trophy at work :p This was taken last November in Cebu and I'm thrilled because I will be there again two weeks from now! Gaaah! I love my job hehe :)

Beautiful Baler

Every summer, when Paul's dad is in town, the entire Bremen household goes to a getaway. This trip of ours is my 3rd summer with them and I couldn't be any happier to be a part of this family. We went to Baler and this also was Paul's pre-birthday celebration.
It's not my first time in Baler but it was theirs so I kinda toured them around. We stayed in Baler's without-a-doubt most beautiful resort, Costa Pacifica (google, so you'll know how awesome it is).

We all have a thing for seafoods right? I mean sorry for those who are allergic but Baler offers a huge range of seafoods and of course we had to try them! (no pic though)

After eating, Paul, Anne (Paul's sister) and I went surfing. Unfortunately we weren't able to take pictures because we had soo much fun! Haha. Though I had a minor injury in my right knee that hindered me from walking straight for like 3 days. :p

We felt so comfortable in Costa Pacifica's pool that it's almost impossible to leave. Paul's parents joined us in the fun and we were all in uniform: Under Armour rash guards :p

After chilling by the poolside, we, the trio, decided to battle the waves! Lol. It was fun and exhausting because I'm too small that I always get washed away from them. Paul and Anne had to hold me tight hahaha!

It was super fun! We had an amazing time, I had an amazing time with Paul's family. When everyone's resting, me and my love would find some alone time and make chikka and just relax.
I would always tell him of how happy he makes me and I'm glad he feels the same.
My loveydove just turned 26 and I'm very proud of what he has achieved in life. He is very grounded, his outlook in life is something that I adore so much and he inspires me everyday. He makes me want to be a better person and he makes me very very happy. (I love you, Paul!) And I'm just so glad because he's so much blessed and I really think he deserves all the good things in the world.

So yeah, if you have plans in visiting Baler, make the most out of your stay and choose Costa Pacifica! It's the best in Baler! :)

I had a wonderful summer with all the people close to my heart, how about you guys? Hope you all had your own share of fun! Here's to more happy trips and exciting adventures!
Safe travels! :)

Hong Kong & Macau

A few weeks ago, my whole family together with my Kuya Bon (he's actually my uncle) and
Lola went to have a vacation in Macau and Hong Kong. This was after Paul's birthday which I will blog after this. Going back, we had such an awesome time! We actually stayed in Macau since our hotel was there. It was just a posh five-star hotel, yeah, no biggy (Haha!). Seriously though, it was super amazing! We stayed at Sheraton Macao + the VIP treatment we had, ah! Excellent! Sharing some of the pictures I took.

We toured around Macau and bought goodies. Beef jerky is actually pretty cheap in Macau as compared to HK. So we kinda hoarded. Buildings and shopping centers are the main attraction in Macau, I would say you'd see so much more when in HK. But anyway, the bright lights made it sooo nice to look at! But it's really really expensive there! Simple example to cite, I got a 500ml coke for 9 HK dollars in Macau but I got the same size of coke for 3 HK dollars in Hong Kong...so yeah it's a big deal for me. Lol!:p

So in order to go to Hong Kong, you need to ride a ferry boat from Macau. It's about 1800 pesos when converted and it will take about one hour. The entire trip won't bore you out because it has WIFI! Everywhere there is a hotspot area...how I wish it could be the same in here.

Everything in Hong Kong was Instagram-worthy and if was the typical fashion blogger, I would have enjoyed taking my OOTDs there. Lol! We went to the Avenue of Stars, Mongkok Shopping District and Disneyland! We rode their pretty high-tech trains and right-hand driven taxis where we actually had such a hard time talking to taxi drivers :( Haha!

The friiiinge I kept asking my kuya if it was bagay. And he just raised his kilay at me...that was his answer! Lol!

A special thank you to my Mama and Papa for this wonderful trip! Perfect way to end the summer of 2015 (but it actually didn't.. right after landing in Manila, we went to Subic and kinda extended our summer there haha)

Chasing Cars

I have never been fond of cars though I grew up really wanting to wash our car back then with my siblings when we were still kids.
I have never wanted one until my father trusted me with my own wheels. It was months back and I remember him scolding me as we drove along C5. It was my 'Go or No Go' test. The verdict? A refresher.
Well, dads are always like that and I'm very blessed to have parents who are very concerned of my well being. And so.. here's my first car, Hood. Hood's a Honda City.

A few months after I got mine, Paul got his first car too! And of course since he's a guy, he's more into customizing his ride. Tyson, the car, is actually pretty cool and fast! It's a Honda Civic that drives me home safe when Paul picks me up during Tuesdays (coding day for me...sweet ain't it?!).

Ahh! Blessings have been pouring and who would have thoughts that these blessings would be so posh? Thank you Lord! We promise to take care of our babies! And another right which I'm dying to drive right now is my father's new Toyota 86. When I first saw it, I fell in love!

I doubt though if he'll allow me to drive it. 😜
Drive safe everyone!
