Family Love

Over the weekend, after my road trip with Paul, my family and I went to Vigan. It was a crazy 12-hour drive which was ideally only 7 hours (sans the traffic and stopovers I guess). But amidst the tiring and butt-hurting trip, we had loads of fun! Ever since I was young, my parents would always take us on long roadtrips and by long I would say 6 hours minimum. I grew up in Mindanao where cities are hours away from each other, unlike here in Manila. But yeah, I grew up loving long trips and stopping over convenient stores to buy coffee and stuff. I grew up singing to Aegis when Papa blasts their songs over because he's kewl like that (hihi) but recently though, he's been listening to rap (which I also sing along to).
I just love spending time with the people I care so much about, I so love my family! <3

Happy Birthday, My Love!

Hey you guys! It was Paul's birthday last May 18 and this post is solely dedicated to the person I love and treasure the most. It's already his 4th year out of his 2* (hihi) birthdays with me and it's no secret that I actually don't settle for anything less when it comes to the people I love. Soooo I got him a verrrryy cute tyre cake from The Sweetery (IG: @thesweeteryph). It's so cute that it wasn't eaten right away as it had to go through a lot of photoshoot. The cake was custom-made straight from my idea of having this design to represent Paul's extreme interest in cars. The details are super intricate, it's really lovely! Please wait for my top 10 list of favorite cakes in Manila. (Btw if you're wondering, the flavor of this one is chocolate mud ganache YUM!!!)

And since I'm a master planner, of course I did not only give him a cake. I also got Paul a new lens for his SLR (so we could capture more memories!!!). But apart from those gifts, I think I'm his best gift ever! Hahahaha! Kidding aside, we went up North to celebrate. We went to Subic and stayed at White Rock Resort where we had it all for ourselves! It was pretty calm and quiet and we really had a nice time. It was also full of stuff to do some team building activities and of course, we tried them (by we I mean took pictures and Paul tried them hahaha). Sharing some of our pictures (P.S. we're so chubby and cuddly noh? hahaha)

Well look at that.. we even snuck a selfie at SCTEX!

It was a quick getaway but it was all worth it. Road tripping with Paul is really one of my favorites. I'll always look forward to food trips (he drivin', me feedin'), extremely loud 90s music and two crazy people singing their hearts out and of course, the holding hands and 'kiss mo naman ako' while driving. <3 Looking forward to more roadtrips with you love! Looking forward to our Boracay and Bohol soon! Yahooo! :)

Change Is Coming

I hope you voted for who you think is right. I hope you voted not just the candidate who promises continuity only for the middle and upper class, but not for the less privileged. I hope you voted for CHANGE. Because I did. #DU30
