Boracay 2017

Hey hey guys! To be honest, I am still on vacation mode. It has only been 2 days since Paul and I got back from the still-beautiful island of Boracay. The trip was very spontaneous. We did not plan anything - we just booked a ticket with no plans whatsoever on what we are going to do in Boracay.
But let me tell you what, spontaneity is the best kind of adventure!!!

Day 1 (July 23)
- Spice Bird. Amazing food. Check it out!!
- Dozed off (LOOOL yeah we did. We arrived around lunch time and it was raining that time so it wasn't so bad dozing off in the island)
- Boohoo Johnny Rockets. Don't eat here! LOOL

 Day 2 (July 24)
- Braids (intro to Beyoncé's Lemonade) LOL

- Nami Resort - do you want a serene place to spend your vacay? Choose this one!
- Spider House - everything is AMAZEBALLS! Plus we also got the best seats in the house! Check it out! It's the ultimate chill place!

- Merly's Isawan - isaw is so so but their sauce is incredibly hot! Plus make sure to try their Chori Burger, it's delish!
- Full body massage at Mirai Spa - look for Ruby!
- Game of Thrones night! We fuckin' hate you Reek!

Day 3 (July 25)
- Swimming in the middle of the storm (LOL true story! we swam in the pool though not by the beach)
- Mobile legends errday!
- Chatime Boracay staff are amazing! Pay them a visit!
- Backyard BBQ - not recommending it tho!
- Shopping and going around D'Mall and etc.
- Foot scrub and foot massage at Mirai Spa again (Look for Ruby she's the best!!)

Day 4:

- Pasalubong shoping
- Stuck in the freakin' airport for 3 hours with no 'julibi' LOL
- Time to go home :(

Ohh Boracay..it's already our 3rd time together in the island but it's always amazing and special every time. We'll definitely be back for sure! <3
And to Paul, whether it's an island trip or a trip to the mall, as long as it's with you then it's sure to be memorable. Thank you for this trip my love! It's a trip we both need to get out of the real world for a bit. But it's coming back to reality and having special trips such as this one that makes it more special and it gets us by every time. Until our next! <3

XOXO,

Ellie

Did you miss me?

Hey guys! Sorry for the unplanned hiatus. But you already know what is up ;)
Work is eating me up again and I finally decided to do something about it. I can't say it right now but can you please do me a favor and please pray that everything will go well. Pretty please?!
So.. I just came back from a vacation with Paul and I can say that I am energized enough to blog again! This is gonna be a long post! So sit back and read on :)

K-DRAMA FAN
If you're a Filipino, you have probably heard of the phrase "kinain na ng K-Drama". This is being said to people who are actually eaten up by their amazement for Korean Dramas. Believe me, my 2 sisters are freakin' K-pop/K-Drama worshippers and there was never a day before when I called them names for being such crazy fans. However... I converted to one of them! LOL!!! I am now hooked to K-Drama thanks to the famous series 'Goblin'. Now I'm not gonna discuss Goblin here but it's really a must watch. Other K-dramas I have watched recently are 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo', 'Descendants of the Sun' and 'W'.
So if you ever find yourself turning into a K-whatever fanatic, you're not alone. Let's talk! Haha!
So here's me being my K-yada yada self. Loool! :) :)

FRIENDS...FRIENDS and MORE FRIENDS
I love my friends and I love that I'm so good in balancing stuff (sorry but not the blog thing) between Paul, my family, my friends and my freakin' time-blood-sweat-consuming-workload. I actually get to spend time with my work friends outside of work and it's amazing that we still get to hang out despite our busy work-life. We hang out every other Friday (Frankie's at BGC is our newest favorite spot) and we do fun runs together. It's just pretty awesome hanging out with this bunch!

FAMILY IS LOVE
My uncle whom I call 'kuya' or older brother in English went for a quick vacation here in the Philippines then went on a 10-city European Trip. His travels are definitely my #travelgoals. During his quick stay here, we went to this place called Inflatable Island in Olongapo and we all had such an amazing time! It was soo tiring to go around, jumping and trying to cross from one inflatable to another. Lol. But it was so much fun with the family around! :)

PAUL TURNS 28
Long overdue post of Paul's 28th birthday celebration. As a tradition, we usually celebrate his birthday by going out of town. It's always like that since his birth month (May) falls on a summer. This year, we celebrated it in Tagaytay. In order to make it more special, I did a mini setup to surprise him (mimicked Pinterest for this haha) and he loved it! Seeing my love happy is all I want. We enjoyed Tagaytay by simply chillin' out and eating so much! Loool. Oh, I baked him a brownie bar this year. I did not get him a cake because I think baking him my own creation feels domesticated. He loved it anyway! <3

It's feels so good to finally catch up! Watch out for my next post as Paul and I went back to Boracay again to spend some quality time and unwind. :)
