Inside My Vanity Kit

So since my friends, cousins and sisters have been obsessed with make-up and have successfully influenced me to watch YouTube videos of make-up artists, be it a local or an international one. I found it really fun and weirdly, calming. Lol. It also made me want to try it someday (the video thing). And since I can't do it yet, I'll just be blogging about what's inside my vanity kit which I use on a day to day basis (I'm including also the 'pang-date' essentials).
Thankfully, my face isn't choosy so it doesn't really matter if the product is cheap as long as it works for me then I'm good.

So to start off, I actually use foundation on my skin. So when I don't have any ganap, I just use Maybelline Dream Satin (B4)

However, if there's a ganap, I use Fenty Beauty by Tita Riri. Aside from it being super expensive (which is primarily the reason why I don't use it everyday), its coverage is really thick (but it feels super light) and I don't think I'll need it whenever I go to the office to face my computer. Lol.
I'm using shade 230.

After the founder, I top it off with this pressed powder from Revlon. It's from Paul's tita and although I believe she does not know my shade, it really goes perfectly well with my face. I also prefer using a brush for it since it's more even if used this way (charot!).

To put color into my face, I either use the Ever Bilena liquid blush on (darker shade). Or I'll use the Canmake blush-on (CL08) that Paul's mom for me from Japan.

I think I have blogged about my lippies collection before and that I have more than 20. Lol.
So the ones below are the ones I use on a daily basis. I really love the Lakme 9to5 (Blush Velvet)lippie my friends got for me from their India Trip. It has a pink shade and goes soft matte right after putting.

Or if I don't feel like putting any lipstick (which is most of the time), I just settle with a really good lip tint from Laurent Cosmetics. I only use Badgirl. I really like it because it does not dry my lips.

But during date nights and special occasions where I want to wear something special, I usually opt for something red. Recently, my favorite has changed to a shade of pink again and that is Benefit's They're Real in Lusty Rose.

Then to add some accent for my eyes, I use Maybelline Lush Sensational and a curlash to beautify my lashes.

And whenever I feel like doing so, I also put on eyeliner. I use Elf's black liner with Shadow Smoke.

We're almost done! Next is some scent. So aside from lipsticks, I also have a range of perfume collection. Most recently though, I only pick either one of the 3 below for my day to day smell.
And I just realized that three below are gifts to me. Lol
Bodyshop Fijian and Lotus and Smoky Rose (from Paul) and Bath&Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar (from my Uncle).

Date night would be a different case, the below is my favorite ever since because my Paul loves the smell of it. It's Issey Miyake Florale.

So yeah that's about it. If you're wondering why I don't do anything to my kilay, that's because I have thick brows and I just feel like it's fine without me needing to do anything to it. Lol! Kilay is life!

And though I really took effort to enumerate what I use to look presentable, there are also days when I don't feel like putting anything at all. Lol. I think we all have those days. :)

Oh oh oh and btw, before I finish, I want to introduce to you the newest member of our family!
Everybody, meet my applehead Chihuahua (so so so tiny!), KNIGHT! <3

Ugh, isn't he the cutest? We already have our KNIGHT-ly routines. <3

That's all for now, xoxo!

I'm Leaving My Job

So I recently learned the techniques of click bait and while typing this, I felt as though my title of this post is like a click bait. Well folks, it ain't.

And yes, I am leaving my job.

How I wish I could add up the cliche phrase - "to travel the world". I really wish I could. Although that will not be impossible, but for now, that's not yet true.
So going back, my work takes at least 70% of my time. Most of the time, I multitask and I can say I am good at it. At my current work, I am heavily stressed on a daily basis. However, I chose to stay mainly because of 2 reasons: Paul and my friends. Now don't get me wrong, me leaving the company doesn't mean I am turning my back on these 2 reasons. But I'm getting way ahead of myself here.

My family has always dreamed of having a business that we can call our own. It has always been a dream and a couple of months back, that dream became a paper waiting for our signatures. Yes, we are fulfilling that dream. And that is basically why I'm leaving. I'm not leaving because I hate my work (hells yeah I love it!), I am not leaving my friends (I will have more time for all!) and definitely I am not leaving Paul behind (everyday we'll Skype like we normally do and I surely will have more time). I think that I am just being OA because I'm not going out of the country but leaving the familiar will surely be different. Nevertheless, I will make sure it won't be felt by the people I care for.

Now to the exciting part! My father wanted me and my mother to be hands-on on the business venture we are having! I am so excited to share to you that we will be opening our franchised store of Infinitea (Milk Tea) and Turks (Shawarma). I am beyond excited! I can't wait to share more details about it but currently it's under construction. Wait for my post on where it is located so you can come and visit sometimes! :)

Xoxo,
