A throwback picture of me and Paul during my 24th birthday. I just figured this fits my description of everglow (Coldplay song). You know..meeting someone who's totally gonna change your life. When you're used to taking care of yourself and being brave but then this person keeps insisting to take care of you. This person wants you to rely on him, this person wants to problem your problems so you won't have to solve them alone. At the end of the day, this very person who shed some light to your once gloomy world, just isn't going anywhere. He's here to stay, to protect, to love and to give you an everglow = forever happiness.
Talking about Valentines.. well I had a pretty rough one. Rough because I was really sick the entire weekend plus I had to work since I was on-call. But my super hero still took me out on a date on the 13th to watch Deadpool and after which, he got me a bunch of medicine. All of that was actually enough for me. And so I slept though February 14 - I even skipped church due to my condition (nothing to fear of but it's a really irritating allergic cough). Then came February 14 10:25pm, in the worst and most unflattering condition you can expect me to be.. my love surprised me with these. You're unbelievable Paul...and I love you for it. :*

Heya you guys! How are you all holding up? It's the love month and I couldn't be more excited due to some really exciting things yet to come. On the other hand, I just noticed how time flew by so fast that we are already done with 1 month of 2016.. 11 more to go, but that's just so crazy fast! Anyhoo, your virtual friend right here isn't feeling that well. I've been sick for a couple of days and I'm trying to recover. Thankfully, I am well taken care of by Paul (thank you for my meds lovey) and my family so I am happy. :) Now, now.. I have a lot of pending posts but I just can't continue them yet knowing it will be another lengthy post. But for now.. I wish be sharing to you my top 5 songs for the week (anu daw?) haha. Well, I think I did this before wherein I had a screenshot of my playlist but yeah, let's trim it down it 5 this time (since I'm sick huhu). I thought of this since my brother - yes my only brother who I really think idolizes me a lot (hahaha he's gonna kill me for this) keeps on bugging to ride with me when going to work. You see, we both work in Mckinley but we have different shifts. He usually brings his car but he says he wants to make tipid so he'll join his ate. I have no problem about it actually and I like having him so I don't get bored. However, he now stopped since...yeah, he confessed he liked my playlist and wants to drive alone with the same songs he heard from me! HAHA. As stupid as that sounds, he has made his choice. Though I don't think the below list would include his favorites haha. Reason: Like do I really have to put this? Haha. It's an amazing song! Zayn's comeback was phenomenal (i'm biased) haha. But come on, the guy is with Gigi Hadid now and I adore ZiGi (luh?). The song is sensual but it's romantic AF! I love it!

Reason: Okay, this is not yet available in Spotify but I keep on requesting this to be played in Magic 89.9.. I think they're the reason why the song is starting to be a hit in the first place. The singer, by the way, is Filipino and this is such a good song!

Reason: Guys linked to Gigi Hadid are just soooo hot! Joe Jonas' new band surely knows how to make songs that would most likely be a hit. This makes me jumpy! Reason: This song makes me wanna practice my British accent while singing. Haha! This just gives me good vibes. Unlike their Selfie song which makes me wanna kill myself, this one's a good tune when stuck in the huge parking lot of Edsa. I'm no pro make-up artist, nor am I an enthusiast but I just have this really huge love for lipsticks. I have more than 20. That might not be so many as compared to the numbers lipstick collectors have but still, I think it's a lot. Well, I bought some of it and some are given by my friends. Sharing to you my Top 6 favorites.
Having a lot of colors to choose from if pretty important for me especially if you want your lips to match your outfit. (Or I'm just maarte haha!)
But all in all, I'm a big fan of red shades.
For 2016, I'm planning to get 1 new lipstick per month (I'm getting serious with my collection ;)).
On that note, expect a Youtube video of make-up tutorial from me very soon (just kidding! Though I will support my friend Gege who does the makeup tutorial thingy and I could probably ask her to feature me sometimes haha).
2015 has ended and looking back at what life threw in for me for 2015, I can only feel intense gratitude and happiness in my heart. I have learned so much and I've had a lot of travel opportunities that I plan/wish/pray will be doubled for 2016. All in all, it was a great year.
As part of our Christmas tradition to pay it forward to the less, we went back to Concordia - if you could recall, we also went here last 2014. It was so fun to see the kids again! The babies who were just in the cribs before can now actually walk! Sharing to you some pictures including the entire gang. It was so much fun since we were so many! We went to Vikings right after to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary.
Christmas and New Year festivities went by so fast and I really had fun celebrating it with my family. And of course, right after New Years, it's my birthday! Yay! I'm already 25 huhu. I had a really simple celebration since I still feel so bloated from all the food I ate over the holidays so I told my parents I only wanted pizza. And so that's what I had! Haha. But I was really happy!:) I invited Paul over for lunch and I spent the entire day with him in Eastwood right after. It was really fun! Paul had so many gifts for me that I actually told him to stop already. How will the man ever understand thatx having him is so much more than all gifts in the world combined. *insert cheesy laugh*
Sharing some of our pictures below (btw we went to see a movie, got a massage, went to church and ate our hearts out, met up with my Stormtrooper friends-- best way to spend my first day as a 25er! Haha

And just like that... three years has passed. Challenges came and went away and it only brought us closer and stronger. I could remember the first time I saw Paul, he wasn't really the friendly type. He doesn't smile a lot, he doesn't talk a lot. Probably because the only feeling he had that night was 'total numbness' of being with me for the first time. Lol. But he's really cute. Now that I've gotten to know more about him, he's such a clown! He is a giver, a keeper and most of all, he makes me feel loved. As we celebrate our third anniversary, we went on by far the farthest place we've even gotten on a road trip - Nasugbu, Batangas, specifically - Canyon Cove. It was really nice, we had such an awesome quality time together! We didn't have a care in the world for two days and we had a nice massage on our last night to help our bodies recover from all the activities. I am so tired from the trip so I'll be sharing some of our pictures sometime this week. Photos uploaded! :)
Compared to last December, my Christmas month this year is less busy - last year I had to attend almost 5 year ender parties and 3 weddings! Not to mention I also have other stuff going on. Good thing it's calm and less stressful this time around. For the only year end party I attended, we had to wear something that represents the 1980s era. I would say colorful of some sort. Styled myself as per usual. Lol
I will be having less grand parties though and that's more favorable for me. Watch out for my next post as I will be sharing some cute stuff you would definitely want to buy for your friends and loved ones this Christmas season.
