Pausing

Hey everyone! Whenever I check my blog stats, I always get surprised to see visitors from different parts of the world. I don't know how you guys were able to get here but I'm very happy that I have readers from countries I haven't even set foot on. Thank you all so much. I might be on a hiatus for the next few months as I wanted to concentrate on finishing things I've started. My blog has served as an open book of my life and as much as I want to update whatever's latest, I think I have to rest and focus more on things that needs my attention. Stay awesome you guys! I shall return. :)

Indie Love

You see, I found myself loving indie songs more nowadays. They're fun to listen to considering it's way different from the mainstream music on the radio nowadays. Indie music helped me write again. I know for a fact that I've suffered acute writer's block for a couple of weeks and these indie songs picked me up from that fall. Owwkay... now that was dramatic for an intro. :)
I plan to share my favorite songs more here in my blog and I'll begin by sharing my top 10 favorite Indie love songs as of the moment. Listen to them when you get to have time. :)

1. Better Together - Jack Johnson

2. Sweet Disposition - Temper Trap

3. Ho Hey - The Lumineers

4. When I'm With You - Best Coast

5. Questions - Old 97's

6. The Luckiest - Ben Folds

Colorful

I remember it clearly on how I lost my 20/20 vision. Damn those contact lenses! I used to be the type of teenager who spends all her cash on fashionable stuff without even thinking if it's gonna do me harm. Now, I'm wearing an eyeglass with a grade of 100/100 and I still blame those colorful contact lenses. I look so 'jejemon' so please forgive me, those pictures were taken way back 2009.

Spa Day

I was supposed to play Laser Tag with my friends that day but it got cancelled due to some reason so it meant I'll be spending my Saturday afternoon with my love. He also had some scheduled activities with his coworkers in the morning but he got up late that's why he wasn't able to join. Thanks to the pretty much convincing words of his colleagues, he asked me to go to Ace Water Spa. Now we have an awesome plan for our Saturday afternoon.

When we got to the place, I was so amazed because it was just so fun looking. It was huge and full of water (of course!). We paid 550 pesos each for the entrance which includes a four-hour use of all the facilities inside. It was our first time and I was very much stunned by the cleanliness and poshness. There was a separate dressing room/shower room/locker room/powder room for the guys and girls. Privacy is really a concern for me so having seen that situation, it made me like it right away. Plus the fact that they have an awesome shower room with all the stuff you'll surely need.

The proper attire inside by the way is a fitted swimsuit(for girls) and a spandex cycling shorts of some sort (for guys), well anything that's spandex just not cotton.

When we got inside, we explored the outer part of the spa first. As much as I want to describe the entire experience, it's hard because we're not allowed to take pictures inside. But it was one hell of an amazing experience. Paul and I enjoyed it a lot and we might even go and visit once in two months just to rejuvenate and relax.

If you guys are in Manila, you should check out their website here.
And if you're situated outside the country, you might want to check out water spas near your vicinity. I tell you, it's definitely worth the penny.

Paul and I made sure we'd make the most out of the experience so we stayed inside for almost 4 hours. We were sooo hungry right after so we had dinner at this place called 'Kebabers' (they have such friendly staff) where they served us yummy beef kebabs and dynamites.

How about you, how's your weekend?

Lunch Out

My best friends and I finally had the chance to have lunch together. It's been months since we last saw each other and I just missed them so much so it was so fun to hang out with them again. We ate at Tong Yang where we enjoyed a feast of shabu-shabu. Funny 'cause about a year ago, it was also the four of us who ate at Tong Yang to celebrate my 21st birthday and "freedom". Lmao.
