Paul and Mara Take Hong Kong

Hey what's up you guys! I'm back with a new blog and a new story to tell. A few days back, Paul and I went for a vacation in Hong Kong! Although it's both our 2nd time already in HK, it actually didn't matter because this trip was our first out of the country trip together! And it was sooo fun!
So the goal was simple, we aim to have lots of food trip & to live like a local.
Most of our touristy pictures are in Paul's camera, so I'll be sharing the ones I took with my phone for now. I'll update this post later on for more pictures.

Day 1
  • We knew this trip is gonna be awesome 'coz when we ate at NAIA, we got the number "12" as we wait for our food. Our anniversary December 12 (12.12.12) and if you'd come to think of it, that's just a weeks from now! My love and I will soon be celebrating our 5 years of togetherness and love <3
  • Saw and made 'pansin' with Maine Mendoza at the long lines of immigration in HK. I thought she was nice since she let off a smile when I called her but Paul thought she's 'suplada' hehe
  • Paul and I tried figuring everything out from the airport to Mongkok (where we stayed) and boy were we good!
  • Walked around the Mongkok area and guess what, FOODTRIP!
  • Paul got a 40% discount on a really 'pogi' pair of sneakers from Puma! Lucky!! My love was super happy and giddy!

Day 2
  • Disneyland and solid food trippin' still!
  • FOODTRIP!
  • Paul brought another pair of sneakers, it's Vans this time and it was super steal at 1000PHP! But mannn it was legit! We are lucky!

Day 3
  • Had Ichiran Ramen for lunch! Heard this is famous in Japan
  • Walked around Tsim Sha Tsui and wandered like locals (who looked for Taylor Swift's Reputation album which was sold out. :( Paul got me the album in iTunes instead :))
  • Went to The Peak which was seriously jam-packed LOL
  • Had a panic-buying of 'pasalubong' in Mongkok
  • FOODTRIP!
  • Our feet were like literally crying with us! Thankfully, foot massages are everywhere so we had to try 'em! It was super expensive but it was worth it :)

Day 4
  • We barely took pictures since we were too tired to even pose. It was also time to go home :(
  • We slept like crazy in the bus to the airport, in the plane, we slept more at Paul's house. We finally regained back our strength just now LOL!
But I wouldn't trade what we had experienced for anything. I love our adventure, I love the spontaneity of everything. I love my Paul <3 Thank you again for this wonderful trip.Thank you for taking care of me and ensuring that I am always more than okay and comfortable, thank you and you know how much I love you.
Here's to more travel! In and outside the country, I'm excited for the future! I'm excited for more adventures with you! <3

Xoxo,
Ellie
