Last March 15, a dear friend of mine was scheduled to be married to another friend. That instantly meant reunions on both sides and I meant college friends reunion. And to ensure that I'll have a good hair day the whole day, I decided to check out what Blowout Bar had to offer.
I've heard of this blow dry salon from celebrities who kept on posting about it on Instagram. From what I've seen/heard, they're really good. My thoughts?
I had an appointment set at 11:00am that day but due to unforeseen circumstances (traffic), I knew I'd get there late. The staff were pretty kind to let me re-schedule to 12:00pm without any fuss. When I got into the place, it was really super cute! I was kind of shy to take pictures of the entire place but I did took a few snapshots. Well to describe it, the place was of Tiffany blue in color with lots of really really cute stuff.
I was also able to find the answer on why it's called a "bar". The setup of the place is bar-like and the staff are like the bartenders attending to your needs. They have bottles of shampoos and conditioners placed in bottles similar to vodkas. The entire place is surely Instagram-worthy! Had I known that, I would have tagged a friend along so I'd be more brave to take pictures of it.
Checking out the styles they offer, I was intrigued of how Malibu Rum would look on me so I immediately told my stylist Imelda about it. Excuse my picture below, Imelda was styling the lower back when I decided to take a half selfie. ;)

The entire process was quick! Or so I think. It lasted for about 30-40 minutes and here is the initial outcome:
The curls are still in place and magically, in just about 10 minutes...
I loved it! The curls can still be seen on the picture below which was taken after the wedding.
The volume is still there are I just love how soft it is.
Check them out guys! Here's their Instagram account: blowoutbar_mnl
Xoxo,
