Forlorn Angel

I remember how I felt when you stared
How my heart skipped a beat though somehow, I’m scared
When I first saw you, it dawned upon me
That all the difficulties in life would become so easy

I remember those late afternoons where you’d take me
To see the sunset even though I know you’re quite busy
Those nights when we’d lay down and watch the stars from afar
I  miss the taste of your lips as we kiss on the hood of your car

I remember how I didn’t have second thoughts when you asked
If we could run away from everything and just leave the past
As I packed my things that night, I recall smiling
Because I love you so much and I was sure things were going to be exciting

I remember waiting for you with glee
I was very happy so I smiled at every stranger I see
Minutes, hours and a day has passed but you weren’t around
My heart sank and it felt like as if it wanted to drown

I remember going to the same place every day
Just to see if you were there and if we could already run away
But three hundred and sixty five sunny and rainy days has passed
Darling, what happened to us? I thought our love would last

I remember waking up in a beautiful place
Things were sparkly and almost all people move with grace
I know I was supposed to be happy to find out
But I only cried and cried and shouted out loud

I remember being the sad and sorrowful one
The smile escaped my face since I know we’re undone
I held on to your promise up to this very day
It caused the blue skies of heaven to turn to gray

One day, as I watched our meeting place from above
I saw you stepping out of your car holding a bouquet with love
You were still very handsome, you never aged
I didn’t care about the rules, so I immediately went down with savage

You can no longer see me, you never will
I was about to wipe your tears away when a kid appeared
“Daddy, come on mom is waiting”
I was shocked from what I heard and my heart started bleeding

I remember you asking for my forgiveness
And that nothing could ever replace the sadness
You recalled that on the day when we were about to run away
You had to fulfill a duty so to avoid any dismay

A wing has been taken, a punishment for being hard-headed
I want to say sorry too, for being an early departed
I was supposed to be strong even just for myself
But darling when you left, I knew there was just not enough help

I wanted you to know that I have forgiven you
Even if in the deepest part of me, you will always see the blue
I’ll be your angel and your family’s guardian too
Just so you know, I will always, always love you.

The last one is my favorite so far! Are you as excited as me for #poetryandpaintings?:D

Collaboration II

Hey guys! Remember my artist friend, Prince? He's actually the one who did the cover photo of Rockstar's Muse 2. He again invited me earlier to do another collaboration, it's a somewhat rebirth of his old project, 'The Forlorn Angel'. He wanted to preserve his art and he wants to add more value to it by incorporating a story/poetry behind the painting. He gave me the bottomline of what inspired him to draw and I did it earlier. I am soooo excited to show it to you guys! I promise to post it as soon as Prince is done with his masterpiece.

Behind The Camera

They say, the quality of the pictures you take doesn't rely always on the camera you use (naah, it sure does). But the beauty of the pictures aren't at stake if the one behind the camera has a gift, an eye for photography. I have always been a fan of how he takes pictures. Before I met him, I got to see some of the pictures posted on his Facebook account and I should admit, they were all good! But the ones I saw were merely people having their headshots taken or solo pictures taken repeatedly as if he clicked it 5 times just for a single pose. It wasn't that long though when I got to see this man's more artistic side. He is just too damn good at taking scenery shots. And that's not even the entire thing he's good at! Well, he's mighty fine in capturing special moments. Moments where you would be able to say "aww". And I just noticed an itsy bitsy little detail as well... when he takes pictures with his heart, man... they're just too beautiful for words.

I sometimes feel unfair for him as I don't see his face on group pictures. Plus the fact that he's the tired one being the photographer, running around, taking pictures here and there. I dis the complaining to him but he just smiled and said: "I'd rather be sweaty and tired than not capture these moments. This will never be back, so I better have a good memory of it by taking pictures."
Gee, yeah he's right. And since I'm here now, even if I'm not the best photographer in the world, I want to take your picture. Keep it in my heart, lock it inside and store it forever. (cheesy!) :)
