Appreciation

When I started writing, I was so eager for my friends to read every creation of mine. Sometimes I think they're not even interested but just took the time to read them since I'm their friend. When I started sharing my stuff to the internal blog of the company I work for, I was stunned by the reaction I got. My posts were always appreciated, noticed, applauded and it was even featured on the 'Hot Blogs' portion. And to think, the things I post there are 30% work related and 70% non work. People then started emailing me, talking to me via chat, visiting me in my station and one even gave me chocolates! That moment, I realized that I must be doing something right for people to react that way towards me. I am very thankful to Accenture for the awesome idea of having an internal social networking site where you get to communicate with the thousands who are working for the same company. Oh and just a little fact. Paul first became interested in me when he saw my posts and luckily, his seatmate at that time is a friend of mine. ;) See how destiny works? Haha :)
